  I had the misfortune to visit this branch of Kwik Fit after a problem with my exhaust necessitated a partial replacement. They were certainly quick, I'll give them that, but competent, no. Thirty seconds after driving my car away it started making a horrible rumbling sound. Thirty seconds later I heard scraping on the road. I got out to find the part of the exhaust they'd fitted was dragging along the concrete. Now, I could have forgiven them. We're all human. We all make mistakes. Trouble is, two minutes after I paid them and left I was back, yet the guy who'd just taken my knowledge pretended he'd never seen me before in his life and when I showed him the paperwork proving that they'd just fitted the exhaust he insisted the work must have been done elsewhere. In the end I had to take my car to another garage, who told me that the part Kwik Fit fitted was not compatible with my car, thus could not be attached, and in their zeal to force it into place they'd damaged another section of the exhaust and the undercarriage. Money paid to Kwik Fit - £108. Money paid to fix the work they did - £366. I will never trust another vehicle I own to these cowboys.

  Poor job quality, advice, and total lack of empathy for their mistake made. Partly failed MOT because of this. Costs me a whole working day extra. Will never use them again.
